  • My child is 11 years old and is not going to play. Do I get a discount, or do I still have to pay for them?
    Yes, children aged 13 and under are required to pay an entrance fee.
  • I’ve never been here before. Can I take a tour and look around?
    Unfortunately, we do not provide tours of our facility. However, you can explore both of our locations virtually. We offer an extensive collection of photos and videos on our Instagram and our website at kidscityhawaii.com.
  • I signed the waiver for myself and my children. Do I need to sign for my partner and their relatives?
    Yes, every adult and child are required to sign a waiver. Adults must use their individual email addresses, and they have to include their dependent children on their waiver ("add as dependent").
  • Can I exit and reenter your store?
    Yes, you may exit and re-enter during your designated time slot.
  • My children have been here, but I have never been here. Do I need to sign the waiver?
    Yes, signing the waiver is mandatory. Guests must sign a waiver before they can enter our facility.
  • Are the waivers the same for Ward and Kapolei?
    Yes, a one-time waiver is applicable for all locations.
  • What is KIDS CITY?
    Kids City is a premium indoor playground that caters to children 12 months to 13 years of age.
  • Do Kids City Hawaii have gift cards for purchase?
    Yes, we offer gift cards for purchase! You can choose between physical gift cards and E-gift cards. To obtain a physical gift card, please visit our store. For an E-gift card, they are available for purchase on our website. Simply click on the [Gift Card] section on the homepage. Be assured that our gift cards do not have an expiration date.
  • Can I leave my children by themselves at your store?
    No, an adult (18years old and up) must always be present to supervise the children. For additional details on our policies, please refer to the playground rules at Kids City Hawaii.
  • What is the age limit?
    Our services are billed for children aged 12 months to 13 years. Infants not subject to charges must be secured in a car seat or carrier. Children aged 14 and above will incur charges at the adult rate.
  • My child was injured (e.g. cuts, bruises, or sprain) while playing. What do I do?
    Instant ice packs and first aid kits are available.
  • How much are socks?
    Grip socks are available for both children and adults at $3 per pair.
  • I want to have a party at Kids City. How do I make a reservation?
    For inquiries, please visit our website.
  • Do I need to pay for the locker?
    No, the use of lockers is free of charge.
  • I have a medical condition and cannot take off the shoes. What do I do?
    We are happy to provide complimentary shoe covers.
  • How long is a waiver good for?
    It is a one-time waiver that must be signed for all locations; however, please ensure that each individual signs it. Minors (ages 17 years old and under) must be under the waiver by one of their parents.
  • Do I need to make a reservation? Can I walk in?
    We strongly advise making a reservation to secure your spot, although walk-ins are welcome during weekdays. Please note that holidays and weekends tend to be fully booked or reserved for private parties, so reservations are recommended. For walk-ins, please call our store to confirm availability or visit our website at www.kidscityhawaii.com.
  • Are strollers allowed inside the playground?
    Strollers are required to be parked in our designated Stroller Parking Area.
  • My 12-month baby is sleeping. Do you charge them?
    We do not charge for a baby who is asleep and being carried. However, should the baby wake up and begin to play, a charge will be incurred.
  • Do you guys have wifi? What are the passwords?
    Both of our locations offer Wi-Fi access. Please feel free to request the Wi-Fi password upon check-in at either location.
  • Is there areas that adults are not allowed to enter in the facility?
    Bouncy castles, Jungle Gyms (slides), and trampolines are off-limits to adults. These play areas are designed exclusively and meant to hold the weight of children.
  • Why do adults have to wear socks, but children do not?
    At Kids City, all adults are required to wear socks. However, for children, hardwood floors can be slippery, so they are permitted to go barefoot or wear grip socks for their safety.

  • Is food or outside drinks allowed in Kids City?
    Outside food and drinks are not permitted in our facility, with the exception of reusable water bottles, such as Hydro Flasks, and baby milk/formula. All food is strictly prohibited in the play area.
  • How much is adult admission?
    The admission fee for each adult is $5.
  • What days are you closed?
    Kids City is open year-round except on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and other holidays. However, there may be closures on certain days for maintenance. To ensure availability, please verify on our website before visiting.
  • Where is the bathroom located at Kids City Adventure?
    The restroom is situated on the second floor, adjacent to the water play area.

  • Where is Kids City Adventure located?
    Our location is in the Ward Center, previously occupied by Bed Bath & Beyond. The address is 1200 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814.
  • I've already signed a waiver at Kapolei, do I need to sign another one for the Ward location?
    No, waivers apply to both locations.
  • What are your hours of operations at Kids City Adventure?
    Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Call us if you are planning to walk in after 6pm), and Friday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
  • Is there a height requirement to play in certain areas of your facility?
    Yes, the Ninja Warrior and Trampoline areas have a height requirement. Children need to be a minimum of 3 feet 3 inches (40 inches) tall to use these facilities.

  • Can all adults use and play every station inside the facility?
    No, adults are not allowed to play in the trampoline, sway swing, carousel swing and pull-up slide.
  • What are your hours of operation at Kids City Kapolei?
    Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Friday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
  • I've already signed a waiver at Ward, do I need to sign another one for the Kapolei location?
    No, waivers apply to both locations.
  • How much is admission for Kids City Kapolei?

  • Does Kids City Kapolei have bathrooms?
    Yes, the bathrooms can be found within the facility.
  • Where is Kids City Kapolei located?
    Our location was previously occupied by New Hope Church. The address is 480 Kamokila Blvd, Kapolei HI 96707
  • Do you have monthly membership at Kids City Kapolei?
    Currently we do not offer monthly membership for our Kapolei location. We only have monthly membership available for our Honolulu location only. You can view the price under membership section.
  • What product do you use to sanitize?
    We utilize products such as Force of Nature, Mrs. Meyers, and Cresktek. All are chemical-free, making them safe for children.
  • How does a ball pool cleaning machine work?
    Initially, a Ball Pool Cleaning Machine is utilized to cleanse the balls. Subsequently, they are washed with liquid soap. Finally, the balls undergo UV light sanitation.
  • How often do you sanitize the ball pool?
    The ball pool is cleaned daily, and we use a machine to deep clean the balls once or twice a week.
  • How do you sanitize the whole area? How often?
    Our team diligently and constantly cleans and sanitizes the playground. The entire area is sanitized daily after closing using an electrostatic disinfection gun, ensuring every surface is treated.
  • How do you sanitize the toys?
    Yes, we ensure the toys are sanitized thoroughly. After children finish playing, we wipe them down and place them in our UV sterilizers at each station.
  • Do you have discounts for Seniors or Kupuna?
    We do have discounts for seniors. This offer can only be redeemed on Tuesdays! You can follow our Instagram to get the latest announcements about Kids City Hawaii.
  • Do you have a Military / Kama'aina discount?
    We do not have Kama'aina discounts, but we do offer Military discounts on weekdays (non-holiday) only. You can follow our Instagram to get the latest announcements about Kids City Hawaii.
  • Fake Service Dog?
    Starting on January 1st, 2019 in Hawaii, violators will be fined $100 or up to $500 for pretending to have a service animal.
  • Do you allow Emotional Support animals?
    No, we do not allow emotional support animals. Under the ADA and Hawaii Law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals. Only service animals. Hawaii's laws specifically state that accommodation requirements exclude comfort and companion animals unless they fall into the required service animals categories
  • What are signs that a service animal is actually fake?
    What is considered a fake service animal: They're being carried or pushed in a cart. They're not on a leash. They're pulling on the leash. They're barking or whining. They're sniffing everything around them. They have indoor accidents. They steal food. They look nervous. They seek attention. They're aggressive.
  • Do current federal laws allow questions to be asked about service animals?
    Yes, we can ask two questions. Is this a service animal? What tasks does this service animal provide?
  • Do you allow service animals?
    Yes, we do allow service animals. What is a service animal: Hawaii designates that a service animal is a dog individually trained to perform work tasks to benefit someone with a disability. Alerting persons with hearing impairments to sounds. Pulling wheelchairs or carrying and picking up things for persons with mobility impairments. Assisting persons with mobility impairments with balance. A service animal is NOT a pet!

We require that everyone to sign a waiver before participating. One time waiver for all locations. *Waiver is individual waiver for each person, not per family.

  1. Risk Factors: I understand and acknowledge that the use of the facilities at The Playground involves risks including, but not limited to the following: bodily injury including but not limited to permanent disability, paralysis, and death. These risks may result from a variety of circumstances including the misuse of equipment or facilities.

  2. Assumption of Risk: I am choosing to use the facilities at The Playground at my own risk. I understand that child supervision is the responsibility of the child’s parent or authorized guardian at all times. I understand and acknowledge that the activities which I am or/and (any minor children for which I am the Parent, legal guardian, or otherwise responsible, any heirs personal representative) about to voluntarily engage in as a participant and/or volunteer bears certain know risks and unanticipated risk could result in injury, death, illness or disease, physical or mental, or damage to myself, or to spectators or third-parties. I assume full responsibility for all risks that may arise from using the facilities at The Playground or from participating in activities at The Playground.

  3. Elopement / Abduction / Kidnapping / False Imprisonment : I understand that Kids City is not legally responsible or liable in the event of any elopement, abduction or kidnapping of my minor child. I / minor child therefore to voluntarily, fully and forever waive, release, discharge, hold harmless, indemnify, defend and agree to a covenant not to sue Kids City and all Released Parties from any and all claims, suits, rights or causes of action predicated in any manner upon the elopement, abduction or kidnapping or false imprisonment of my / minor child or any participant present upon the premises of Kids City.

  4. Acknowledgement of Rule/Policies and Procedures: I acknowledge that I have read, know, and agree to all of the policies and procedures relating to the use of the facilities at The Playground. I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and policies at The Playground. I understand The Playground reserves the right to revoke or terminate my use of the facilities at The Playground for any violation of rules, regulations, or policies.

  5. Release, Indemnify, and Defend: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Playground and all employees past or present from any claims, suits, liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses for any property damage, loss or theft, personal injury or illness, death, or other loss arising from the use of The Playground.

  6. Waiver: I hereby waive any protections afforded by any statute or law in any jurisdiction whose purpose and/or effect is to provide that a general release shall not extend to claims, material or otherwise which the person giving the release does not know or suspect to exist at the time of executing the release. I am releasing unknown future claims.

  7. Payment for damages: I agree to pay for any and all damages to any property or equipment as a result of my or my heirs willful actions, neglect, or recklessness and agree to be held liable for all such costs associated with such damages.

  8. Representatives: I enter into this agreement for myself as well as for my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.

  9. Insurance: I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical, health, or personal injury costs relating to my use as well as for my heirs of The Playground and its facilities.

  10. Arbitration: All parties to this agreement agree to mediate, in good faith, any dispute prior to initiating arbitration or litigation based on the laws of the state of Hawaii. The prevailing party in the event of arbitration or litigation shall be entitled to costs and reasonable attorney fees.

  11. Use of any Photography and/or Videos: The Playground may use any photos/videos taken at The Playground, without the expressed written and/or oral permission of those included within the photo/video. The Playground may use the photo/video in any form of advertisement or other media material produced including but not limited to: fliers, social media, website, fliers, etc. You and your heirs are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify The Playground from any and all claims involving the use of your photos/videos.
